England are in action at the Otkritie Arena this evening, where they’ll battle Colombia for a place in the Quarter Finals of World Cup 2018. Our guide reveals everything you need to know to watch the England vs Colombia game on TV and online – and best of all, it’s free! Plus, full England vs Colombia TV channel details, the kick-off time and more.
Are England or Colombia actually any good? It’s a question many of us have been left pondering after both sides experienced rather mixed group-stage results.
The Three Lions squeaked past Tunisia and then thumped an extremely poor Panama side, but then played their B-Team against Belgium’s second-string and lost. Los Cafeteros, meanwhile, were beaten by Japan, having had to play with 10 men for 87 minutes. They then dismantled a weak Poland team before scraping past Senegal.
When they’ve clicked, both teams have looked very strong indeed − the problem is they’ve (so far) only managed to turn it on against much weaker opposition.
England will recall key men Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard and Kieran Tripper, after they were rested last week, while Colombia are sweating on the fitness of superstar James Rodriguez, who wasn’t fit enough to start against Japan, shone against Poland, and then limped off in the first half of the Senegal clash.
They have plenty of firepower regardless, in the form of Radamel Falcao and Juan Cuadrado − both of whom have points to prove after unhappy spells in the Premier League − and Juan Quintero and Yerry Mina.
Without further ado, here’s how to tune into the game.
