E3 2015 Xbox One conference to be “something different”, promises Microsoft

Microsoft has promised “something different” for the Xbox One E3 2015 press conference.

Although it might be a little way off, Microsoft has started teasing us with information about its Xbox E3 2015 press conference.

The teasers come from Aaron Greenberg, US Marketing Head for Xbox, who said that Microsoft is taking a bit of a different tack with this year’s E3 press conference.

“Expect a lot of surprises,” said Greenberg to The Inner Circle podcast, as spotted by GameSpot. “We have some ideas to do some things different at E3 this year that we haven’t done before. I think we’re going to take a little bit of a different approach to E3 this year. But I feel really good about it. It’s been really exciting.”

“Expect us to talk a lot about games. And if you’re an Xbox owner, I think you’re going to leave really, really, really happy in the investment you made. And if you’re undecided, we hope that you will look at what we deliver on games and want to buy an Xbox.”

Greenberg also teased that there are Xbox One games coming before the end of the year that haven’t yet been announced  – making us even more excited for the big E3 2015 reveals.

“I think this year coming up you’ll see [what will] arguably be one of the biggest holiday line-ups we’ve ever had in the history of our business. You know some of the titles that are coming, there’s definitely more we haven’t announced.”

“Here we are in February and already this holiday we will have exclusively on Xbox One: Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6, we will have Fable Legends and Halo 5: Guardians. Those are just a few and that doesn’t include any other surprises we have internally, but I think it’s going to be a great, great holiday for gamers and I think we’re confident we’re going to deliver high quality games again this year.”
