Dual-boot Elephone will run both Android and Windows 10
Can’t decide whether to opt for a new Android or Windows powered handset? Well, thanks to Elephone you might not have to choose much longer.
The little known Chinese manufacturer is said to be working on a new high-end handset that can dual-boot both Google’s Android and Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 10 smartphone systems.
Yet to be officially confirmed, the innovative handset has leaked via Neowin, ahead of an expected June unveiling.
According to the leaks, which we must stress should be taken with a pinch of salt, the dual-boot smartphone will be offered up alongside and Android-only iteration with the same internals.
Dual OS party piece aside, the mooted Elephone handset is shaping up as a true powerhouse of the smartphone space.
According to the early reports, the handset will run a 5.5-inch display with a stunning 2560 x 1440 pixel QHD resolution.
This will reportedly be paired with 4GB of RAM, a massive 3800mAh battery and a 64-bit MediaTek processor.

Pricing and widespread availability has yet to be confirmed.
Far from the first time we’ve heard mutterings of a dual-boot Android/Windows phone, last year Huawei pledged to make such a device before canning the idea.
“We think the dual OS can be a new choice for the consumer,” an Huawei exec told us at the time.
