Deus Ex: Mankind Divided trailer shows off Adam Jensen 2.0

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, giving us an in-depth look at Adam Jensen 2.0.

Mankind Divided is set in 2029, two years after the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution – released back in 2011.

The game follows protagonist Jensen once again, this time working to shed light on the inner workings of a global conspiracy.

In Human Revolution, Jensen began as a lowly private security officer. In Mankind Divided however, players control Adam Jensen 2.0, now equipped with a set of new augmentations.

Unfortunately, in Mankind Divided, people are now set against augmentations more than ever before.

As such, augmented individuals are now persecuted worldwide, which is bad news for Jensen.

“In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, [Jensen] is now an experienced covert operative, forced to operate in a world that has grown to despise his kind,” reads the video description.

It continues: “Armed with a new arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and augmentations, he must choose the right approach, along with who to trust, in order to unravel a vast worldwide conspiracy.”
