Destiny: The Collection appears on Amazon UK

Amazon UK briefly listed Destiny: The Collection for PS4 and Xbox One, suggesting that a re-release of Bungie’s sci-fi shooter is on the way.
The listing was first spotted by Lifelower on Twitter before it was suddenly taken down from the retailer.

According to the listing, Destiny: The Collection will launch on August 18, almost a month before the upcoming Rise of Iron expansion pack.

It’s safe to assume the collection will bundle together the base version of Destiny and all of its previously released expansions.
This would essentially help players get caught up before the launch of Rise of Iron this September.
Unfortunately for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners, they are now considered “legacy platforms” at Bungie, and will not receive any further content updates for the game.
Rise of Iron is set to be the largest expansion to date with an entirely new social space and single-player campaign for players to dig into.
We’ll be taking a more extensive look at Rise of Iron in the coming days, so keep your eyes on TrustedReviews for more juicy info.
