Destiny “small, but Legendary” gifts start to arrive

Bungie has started to release the “small, but Legendary” gifts for Destiny gamers.
Earlier this week, Bungie revealed that it was giving players a special gift to reward them for their loyalty to Destiny.
Now those “small, but Legendary” gifts have started being delivered to gamers’ Postmasters.
Packages are being deployed by the millions throughout the day. Check your emails and the Postmaster for confirmation,” said Bungie on Twitter.
But “What are the gifts?”, we hear you cry. Well, Bungie is delivering specific weapons to gamers, rather than an Engram, Sparrow or Ghost shell, and it arrives via a “mysterious benefactor”.

There is an element of luck to the gifts though, as not all gamers are getting the same weapons. Just bare in mind that they aren’t the version of the weapons that you can buy from the vendors.
On Twitter, some users are very happy with their gifts, including @MichaelMaphis and @Zeeda2000 that got the LDR 5001 legendary sniper rifle and a rocket launcher respectively.
Others got the excellent Secret Handshake shotgun and were insanely pleased.
However, some gamers weren’t so delighted when they received a weapon they already had, exploding on Twitter with expletives and other foul statements over their free gift.
