Destiny Rise of Iron expansion coming this September

The release date for Destiny’s upcoming Rise of Iron expansion has been leaked by Activision.
According to the official Destiny website, the Rise of Iron expansion will launch on September 20 for PS4 and Xbox One.
This leak comes just days before a livestream event which would presumably announce the release date.
Unfortunately, it appears Activision and Bungie were a little too excited about the Destiny news. It also seems that the new expansion will leave PS3 and Xbox 360 behind, launching only for current generation platforms.

Further information for the expansion emerged from Xbox.com (via Reddit), which revealed a bunch of content to be found in Rise of Iron.
