Destiny reveal event coming next week

Bungie will hold a reveal event next week ahead of E3 2016 to show off new content coming to Destiny, the developer announced yesterday.

The event will come in the form of a livestream on Thursday, June 9 at 10am PT/5pm BST.

Known as the ‘Destiny Reveal Stream’ we will be learning “all about the next threat you’ll confront as Guardians” hinting at a major content update for the game.

It will be broadcast live on the Bungie Twitch channel, which you can check out here.

The stream will show us the “first glimpse at what awaits you later on this year”, adding weight to the rumour that Destiny’s Rise of Iron expansion will launch this September.

Rise of Iron was leaked last month via marketing materials obtained by Kotaku. Sources at the outlet also suggest that development of Destiny 2 has been “completely rebooted” at Bungie.

Are you still playing Destiny? Excited for the new expansion? Let us know in the comments.
