Destiny locations shown off in new panoramas
Bungie has just released a selection of panoramas showcasing some of the Destiny locations.
Ahead of the Destiny beta launching later this month, Destiny has teased fans with a few panoramas of the locations to feature in the full game.
“These sweeping vistas that are ripe for exploration make my frequent flier high score seem miniscule by comparison,” said Bungie Community Manager Deej in the latest Bungie blog post. “Check out some of the destinations you’ll explore in the final form of Destiny.”
Bungie released five 360 degree panoramas, showing the beautiful locations to appear in Destiny.
Included in the images is The Tower, which overlooks the “last safe city on Earth” – a city that exists under the watchful glare of “The Traveler”, a mysterious alien spaceship.
Then there’s the Cosmodrone, “made strange by the passage of time”, which looks a bit like an abandoned stadium and carpark with rusted out vehicles.
Plus, Bungie has offered a look at the Hellmouth Citadel located beneath the surface of the moon and The Shattered Coast of Venus, which has been claimed by nature and the partly robotic, time-travelling aliens – the Vex.
Finally, Destiny fans are given a glimpse of the area surround the Martian Buried City, including the crimson sand dunes adorning the planet’s face.
The Destiny Beta starts on July 17 for PS4 and PS3, and then some time in “late July” for Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers.
The full Destiny release date is September 9 for all platforms, although PlayStation consoles will get access to some additional and exclusive content.
