Destiny House of Wolves DLC details leaked

Details of the Destiny House of Wolves DLC have been leaked online ahead of its release later this year.

One Destiny gamer has unearthed some early details on the House of Wolves DLC, including the gear, weapons and a level cap raise.

Reddit user megamanexe64 has uncovered Crucible and Vanguard armour for the Hunter, Warlock and Titan classes along with a selection of new guns and rocket launchers. They managed to screengrab the items they spotted during a visit to one of the in-game vendors.

The Reddit user also discovered a new faction and a level 32 weekly Nightfall strike.

Strangely, they also predicted that House of Wolves would be released on May 19, but there’s no indication as to where he got that information.

According to one of the screenshots, House of Wolves will introduce “a new Awoken storyline plus an exclusive Raid”, alongside “three new Crucible maps and a new Fallen Strike” and “hundreds of new weapons, armour and gear”.

Despite the amount of screenshots megamanexe64 managed to grab directly from the game, Bungie Community Manager David “DeeJ” Dague has urged caution as to the finality of the details.

“Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the House of Wolves,” said Dague on the Bungie forums. “That means that anything you know about it can change. We have a team working on the experience in their own fancy room, and they have some exciting surprises up their sleeves.”

Dague has deemed all of the items described in the leak as “placeholder” and he states Bungie reserves the rights to change any details that you can see in them before House of Wolves launches.

“Any stats or assumptions about power or impact or handsomeness are months old, and do not reflect the things that we’re doing to adapt to what you’ve taught us about Destiny. There is a process here, and you’re a part of it.”

“All we ask is that you leave your mind open to the evolutions that are inevitable. What you see here are very old ghosts from our pre-launch database. These are not necessarily the wolves you’re looking for.”
