Destiny gameplay trailer coming Tuesday

Bungie has announced it will be releasing a new Destiny gameplay trailer on Tuesday, October 1, after revealing the PS3 and PS4 game box art.

Attempting to quell gamers’ appetite for more information on the upcoming Bungie title, the developer is releasing a second gameplay trailer for Destiny.

Revealing the new gameplay trailer release via the PlayStation blog, Bungie has also teased additional Destiny revelations throughout the week.

“Tomorrow, check back right here to watch our latest gameplay trailer, set in a destination a lot of fans have been asking to see for the first time,” reads the PlayStation blog. “We’ll also have some exciting announcements if you’re looking to suit up and explore our new frontier.”

The first Destiny gameplay trailer was released during E3 2013, offering 12-minutes of footage running on the PS4.

Destiny will be the first time Bungie has published a title for Sony consoles, and from what we’ve seen so far, the game should be pretty spectacular. There are definite Halo and Portal influences in the previously released gameplay footage.

It’s not clear what location the new Destiny gameplay trailer will take place in, but it is bound to build the hype the title.

Bungie also released the PS4 and PS3 box art for Destiny, which showcases the game’s three different character classes – Titan, Hunter and Warlock.

Due to be released in the early half of 2014, the open-world MMO FPS will be available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. Although there isn’t a precise Destiny release date as yet, the game is available to pre-order now for all consoles.
