Dell Outs Stunning Vostro All-In-One Desktop PC

Finally an all-in-one PC to rival the iMac?

Despite admirable attempts to beat the iMac in the all-in-one (AIO) PC game such as the Sony VGC-JS1E and HP TouchSmart IQ810, nothing has quite managed to match Apple’s machine.

Despite being made from plastic rather than aluminium, with looks like this Dell’s new Vostro All-In-One Desktop might be the best attempt yet – especially since it comes in significantly cheaper than Dell’s XPS AIOs.

It’s the company’s “first all-in-one desktop computer designed exclusively for small businesses”, and though Dell does have a history of making some pretty attractive business machines (like the gorgeous 12.1in Latitude E4200), it’s really outdone itself with the Vostro Desktop. We especially like the red accents and optional metal arm.

The glossy black main unit comes with a matching wireless mouse and keyboard. Specs are thin on the ground, but we know it’ll be running a Core 2 Duo processor and sport such niceties as an integrated webcam and integrated WiFi.

Best of all, the system should be available next month in Europe with prices starting at $629, although being-British tax will probably bring that up to £500 or more.
