Multiple Samsung speakers and soundbars now have access to Deezer’s High Fidelity Lossless Audio streaming service.
In news that could end up attracting business to both companies, Deezer HiFi subscribers will be able to access 36 million tracks at 16-Bit/44.1kHz on compatible devices. Deezer HiFi costs £19.99 but is designed to offer CD quality FLAC files, matching the standard of the original master recordings.
Frustratingly, Samsung isn’t revealing exactly which audio products are compatible with the Deezer HiFi platform at this stage, so it’s difficult for potential buyers to know which speakers to buy.

“Our partnership with Samsung ensures that Deezer HiFi and Samsung users will have even more opportunities to discover and experience the music they love in the way it was meant to be heard,” said Riad Hawa, VP Hardware Partnerships at Deezer said in a press release.
“Providing greater accessibility to FLAC quality sound is really important to us and to all audiophiles who have a greater appreciation for lossless audio. Teaming up with Samsung allows us to deliver the best quality sound to our consumers who care about high quality sound.”
