Motorola’s new Moto G (2016) is one of the best value phones of the year, so this latest discount makes it even more attractive.
Tesco has knocked £20 off Motorola’s brand new fourth-generation Moto G. That’s not a huge saving, but it’s very welcome as the phone only launched last month. The discount means you’ll be paying just £149 for the phone, rather than the £169 that Motorola is charging for direct purchases.

We haven’t finished our final review for the new Moto G (2016) just yet, but previous Moto G handsets have scored well in the past. For a better idea of what to expect from the phone, here are our reviewer’s first impressions:
“If the size isn’t an issue, then it’s a fast phone with what appears to be a strong camera and plenty of power. It comfortably outshines its modest £169 price once again.”
Here are the Moto G specs you need to know:
- 5.5-inch screen
- Full HD 1080p display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB storage
- 3,000mAh battery
- 13-megapixel rear camera
- 5-megapixel front camera
- Android 6.0.1
If the new Moto G doesn’t float your boat, you can pick up last year’s third-generation Moto G at John Lewis for a lower price of £129.95.
