We’ve made it, folks! We’re finally at the point where top-brand 4K TVs are becoming affordable – just like this bargain Samsung set.
BT is selling a brand new 2016-edition Samsung 49-inch Ultra HD television for a lowly price of just £645.15. That’s significantly down on the £849 R.R.P, giving you a saving of £203.85 – just less than 25%. What’s more, BT’s standard delivery option takes three working days or less.
The TV in question is Samsung’s new UE49KU6400, which only went on sale in the UK last week. One of the best features is its support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) content, meaning you’ll get super-black blacks and super-white whites from HDR-friendly content.
It’s also a smart TV, connecting to the net via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, which means you’ll have access to Samsung’s smart TV Tizen platform. You can use this to stream video games, browse apps like Netflix and Amazon, and even upscale Full HD content to 4K.
The UE49KU6400 runs on a quad-core processor, and comes with three HDMI ports and two USB ports.
