Dead Island Definitive Collection will be available on 31 May and is set to include both games and Retro Revenge, a new 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up.
The collection will include both Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide, which originally launched for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Each title has been “greatly improved” and “digitally remastered” for modern consoles, and you can expect them to boast a higher frame rate and resolution.
Escape Dead Island, the ill-received spinoff, is notably absent from the collection.

In other zombie-related news, Dead Island 2 is still in development. Previously in development at Yager Entertainment, the company was dropped from the project in July 2015.
Publisher Deep Silver is yet to announce a new developer for the sequel, or when we can expect to play it.
