Darts Connect is the world’s first smart dartboard
Fancy a game of ‘arras but can’t get down to Lakeside? You want Darts Connect, the world’s first smart dartboard.
It connects to your smartphone and tablet via Wi-Fi to share your score with players all over the world. And it’s a doddle to use. Just sync it with the app, select a game to play and start throwing. Every time one of your darts scores, the app makes a sound and registers your points. So there’s no cheating, or having to write your score on a blackboard.
You can customise the themes, animations and sound effects on the app. Plus it contains plenty of classic and party games, as well as a global league.
If you don’t have anyone to play against, the app will match you against someone of a similar standard, or just someone nearby. Although you’d better watch your trash talking if they’re just around the corner.

The built-in camera lets you see your opponent’s every shot, and ensures there’s no foul play. The board is powered by a battery that’s charged via USB, or you can slot in four AA batteries. The board is available in black and white colour options.
It’s raised almost $20,000AUD of a $70,000AUD goal, and still has 29 days to go. If successful, it will ship in January. Prices start at $245AUD (£119).
