Sony has announced a new special edition PlayStation 4 console with an imposing Darth Vader theme.
The company revealed its new limited edition console at the D23 Expo in the US over the weekend. As expanded upon in an official PlayStation blog post, the Darth Vader-edition PS4 will be available from 17 November as part of two Star Wars bundles.
Yes, the new Star Wars film will be out around that time (a month later, in fact), but the bundles will be based around the launch of Star Wars Battlefront.
As such, the bundle will include a 500GB PS4, a DualShock 4 controller, and a copy of EA’s hotly anticipated multi-player team-based shooter. The Deluxe Edition, no less.
It will also come with digital vouchers to download four classic Star Wars games: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter, all of which will be making their PS4 debut.

As for that Darth Vader PS4, it will feature an image of the Sith Lord himself on the side/top (depending on which way up you have your PS4) of the console, as well as repeated Star Wars logos. The DualShock 4 controller gets pimped too, with a black body and a combination of light-grey and red buttons. Oh, and a single blue one in the case of R1.
There will also be a bundle that comes with Disney Infinity 3.0 and a bunch of Star Wars Disney Infinity figurines.
