Dark Souls 3 coming early 2016

From Software took to the stage at the Xbox E3 2015 presentation to announce Dark Souls 3

Rather than focusing on a PlayStation release as normal, From Software has decided to use the Xbox One as its launch platform for its upcoming title.

Although all we got to hear about Dark Souls 3 at E3 2015 was a quick trailer, the crowd was obviously elated by the news of a Dark Souls 2 follow-up.

There’s very little we know about Dark Souls 3 at this point, but we do know that the game will be available in early 2016.

The trailer for Dark Souls 3 was short but sweet, showing familiar characters from the Dark Souls franchise.

As with the previous games Dark Souls 3 will be made by the same team at From Software, so you can guarantee that you’ll experience the same high quality gameplay bound by the intense difficultly levels we’ve come to expect from the games.

Although the platforms haven’t been officially confirmed, we assume Dark Souls 3 will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC when it is available in early 2016.

We’ll keep you posted as and when we hear more about Dark Souls 3.
