Computex 2018: Weird and wonderful creations from the show floor

Computex 2018 has been jam-packed with important news, breakthroughs and product launches, most notably the Asus ROG Phone, Snapdragon 850 and Zenbook Pro.

However, the show has always been about so much more than the announcements. We’ve ventured through the halls of Taipei’s Nangang Exhibition Centre, and have put together a selection of the most eye-catching creations on display at Computex 2018.

Warning: some of the masterpieces below may conjure up feelings of extreme jealousy.

Hammerhead PC

Possibly the biggest attention-hogger in the entire building, Suchao Modding & Design’s Hammerhead (pictured above) is genuinely breathtaking.

Inception Project

The Inception Project, put together for Computex 2018 by an army of hardware companies, is (said to be) the world’s largest water-cooled PC display. Count them up, there are 12 PCs on the back, each powering one of 12 TV screens on the front.


This rather dramatic beauty has been surrounded by a multitude of admirers every single time we’ve performed a walk-by ogle.
