Check out Splatoon 2’s single player in this new trailer

Nintendo has provided us with our first proper glimpse at Splatoon 2’s story mode on Nintendo Switch.

Making a guest appearance during yesterday’s ARMs Nintendo Direct, the paint-based shooter is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on July 21.

It seems players will be tasked with helping Marie, one half of the iconic Squid Sisters, defeat the Octarian menace during the single-player campaign.

Splatoon 2 will once again include an assortment of solo levels that will have you taking part in combat, puzzles and creative platforming sections.

All of these peripherals are themed after the main colour scheme of Splatoon 2 as well as featuring a bunch of cool decals inspired by the game. They all look pretty damn snazzy.
