Cheap Nintendo games in the UK? Beware, they could be stolen

Police are on the hunt for thieves who stole thousands of pounds worth of Nintendo games from a lorry.

Northamptonshire Police say the games were robbed from a service station while the truck driver was sleeping.

A photo posted by cops (above) shows the rather primitive method the offenders used to obtain the games.

Cutting a hole in the tarp and swiping the games is hardly Oceans 11-style sophistication, but it nonetheless proved effective.

“Between 9pm on 13 April and 7am on 14 April, the offender(s) cut the side curtain of the lorry, while the driver was asleep, and stole the games,” the police said in a statement (via Videogamer).

It’s not clear which games were part of the haul, but if you’re offered a brand new copy of Star Fox Zero for Wii U from a kid in a Burberry hat you might want to think twice.
