Disney Plus has finally launched in the UK. If you’re a Disney fan looking to jump into the video streaming service, you’ll be wanting to know which platforms you can view it on. For those with Sony Playstation 4 consoles, then the answer is yes, you can get Disney Plus on the PS4.
How to get Disney Plus on PS4
In order to download the Disney Plus app for your PlayStation 4 console, simply head to the PlayStation Store on your console or online by following this link, provided you’re logged into your Sony Entertainment Network account. Downloading online will see the app downloaded to the console next time you turn it on.
If you want to do it through the console itself. Power it up, head over to the PlayStation Store and look for the App section on the left hand-side. If you don’t see it initially, look to the top right-hand corner for the ‘Sort By’ mechanism, and arrange them in terms of ‘Newest First, and Disney Plus will be the latest entry.
Once downloaded and installed on your Sony PS4 console you’ll be able to sign-up for ad-free access to originals like The Mandalorian and the brand new live-action remake of The Lady and The Tramp.

Disney Plus is live in the UK Tuesday, March 24. If you’ve waited until now to sign up, you will have missed out on the pre-order incentive which offered a year’s subscription for £49.99. The price has returned to the standard £5.99 per month (which adds up to £71.88 over the course of a year), or you can purchase a year’s subscription for £59.99 for 12 months (which is the equivalent of £4.99 every month).
Disney Plus is the newest video streaming service, rivalling the likes of Netflix and Prime Video. It’s home to Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, 20th Century and Disney content, and it’ll be the only place to watch The Mandalorian and Marvel’s Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
