Trusted Reviews Awards 2017: Nikon D850 snaps up Camera of the Year gong

The Nikon D850 has won camera of the year at the Trusted Reviews Awards 2017.

The Nikon D850 edged past the Fujifilm X100F, Sony Alpha A9 to take the win and is this year’s best camera.

A follow up to the company’s high-resolution full-frame D810, the camera won Trusted Reviews over by offering a variety of cutting edge features. The end result is a camera that offers photographers exceptionally fine image detail, super-fast autofocus, silent shooting in Live View, fast AF point positioning and industry leading battery life. As described by reviewer Mike Topham:

“Nikon users have had a long three-year wait for a replacement to the mighty D810, but the great news is that the D850 doesn’t disappoint in the slightest, delivering impressive features by the truck load. There’s no question that the D850 will appeal to many users, from action, sports and wildlife photographers to landscape, portrait, wedding, architectural and still-life photographers.”
