Call of Duty: Ghosts PC system requirements outlined by Nvidia

Nvidia has released the minimum requirements need to play Call of Duty: Ghosts on a PC.

Gamers wishing to play Call of Duty: Ghosts on their PC will need a minimum 6GB of RAM and 50GB of hard drive space.

With the Call of Duty: Ghosts release date scheduled for November 5 on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, Nvidia has provided details about the minimum specs a PC will need to actually run the game.

Users will be required to have a 64-bit version of Windows 7 or 8, with a processor at least as speedy as the 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 or 2.4GHz AMD Phenom X3 8750. They will also need 6GB of RAM and 50GB of free storage to run the game successfully.

A DirectX compatible sound card is also required along with DirectX 11.

Video cards must match the Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti or ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better them, but Nvidia recommends an Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 for optimum performance.

Activision recently announced that all the version of Call of Duty: Ghosts, including PC, Xbox One and PS4 will get their own dedicated servers to improve multiplayer connectivity.

Anyone purchasing the Xbox 360 or PS3 version of Call of Duty: Ghosts will be able to upgrade to the PS4 or Xbox One edition (both of which will be available at launch later in November), for £10.

The call of Duty: Ghosts single player campaign trailer was released in early September too, building the hype ahead of the game’s release date next month. It revealed that the upcoming FPS would feature sections that take place in outer space.

The Xbox 360 achievements list has also been leaked online for Call of Duty: Ghosts, shedding some light on the game’s content.
