Want a gold Google Nexus 6P? Here’s how to get one

If you’re all about the bling, this might be the handset for you…

The Nexus 6P will soon be available to buy in the US in a gold colour option, apparently.

Popular electronics retailer Best Buy will be flogging the ritzy-hued variant in the near future, according to a new report.

An article by 9to5google cites “people familiar with the matter” as revealing the new model’s imminent arrival in US stores.

Currently, Us customers can choose from Aluminium, Graphite and Frost colour options.

The gold variant does exist already, but it’s on offer in only Japan at the moment. What’s more, it’s available from only one Japanese carrier: SoftBank.

It’s not exactly clear when the gold option will be available to buy, but the report suggests the CES 2016 trade show as an avenue for the reveal.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on whether the gold version of the Nexus 6P will make it to the UK – sorry, Ali G.
