Burnout Paradise is being remastered and it’s coming to PS4
Electronic Arts has confirmed it will be releasing a remastered version of Burnout Paradise in Japan later this year.
The surprise remaster will be available for PS4 on March 16 and will be a visually enhanced release of the 2008 racing classic.
Other platforms and a release date outside of Japan have yet to be confirmed, but considering the popularity of Burnout Paradise, they’re likely on the horizon.
As Gamespress pointed out in December 2017, Burnout Paradise Remastered has also been rated by a Brazilian Ratings Board, making a worldwide release inevitable.

Time will tell how extensive the remaster will be in terms of graphical upgrades and new features, but here’s hoping it supports 4K and HDR on PS4 Pro.
Having originally released for PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2008, we awarded Burnout Paradise 9/10 in our original review:
“A blinding reboot for Burnout. Paradise adds a sense of freedom and depth to the series without losing the adrenaline rush that makes it tick. Beautiful, brilliant and self-assured.”
