Bowers and Wilkins has announced a new addition to its high-end headphone lineup in the shape of the Bowers and Wilkins P3.
The new headphones join the superb P5 and C5 headphones and earphones, and sit in between the two when it comes to price, retailing for £169.99.
Looking similar to the P5 they have the same metal arms, square earpieces and metal oval motif on the side. However, while they still sport a premium build they eschew the leather of the P5 and opt instead for a fabric finish on the earpieces.
This, along with the earpieces being smaller and foldable emphasises the more portable design of the headphones. Furthermore they include a hard carry case for protecting the phones when chucked into a suitcase.
Like the P5 the cable is replaceable and you can remove the earpiece pads, indeed that’s how you replace the cable.
Available from June 2012, the P3 will come in both black and white finishes. We’ll be back soon with an unique ears-on experience from Abbey Rd studios.
