Borderlands to have Xbox One backwards compatibility support at launch

Borderlands will be supported by the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature at launch.
Microsoft has confirmed Borderlands will be one of the games supported by the upcoming Xbox One backwards compatibility feature when it becomes available in November.
It’s available to test out right now if you’re an Xbox One Preview member, which is becoming more and more difficult to do.
How it works is that, if you own Borderlands you’ll be bale to play it on your Xbox One, simply by inserting the disc. Or, if you purchased it digitally, you’ll be able to download it right from the My Games and Apps section of your Xbox One UI.
You’ll also be able to carry over your previous save games, as well as game add-ons and achievements.

That means you’ll be able to battle throught eh world of Pandora with Claptrap, your chatty robot pal, and all your fellow Vault Hunters via Xbox Live – regardless of whether they’re on Xbox 360 or Xbox One.
“We are proud to support Xbox One backwards compatibility by bringing the complete, original Borderlands to Xbox One, including all downloadable content,” said 2K President, Christoph Hartmann. “We know many of our fans have put in dozens, even hundreds, of hours exploring the world of Pandora on their Xbox 360, and now they can continue their adventures on Xbox One.”
Xbox One backwards compatibility will be available to all this November, when it arrives with the major Xbox One update.
The feature will support more than 100 Xbox 360 titles at launch, with hundreds to be added in the months following.
