BlackBerry’s second Android phone leaks
Images of another Android-powered BlackBerry phone have emerged online.
Until recently, it was thought that the BlackBerry Priv was to be the company’s final roll of the hardware dice. Over the weekend, however, BlackBerry CEO John Chen confirmed that there was a whole range of products planned to follow the Priv.
Now we have images of the first of these post-Priv devices.
The BlackBerry “Vienna”, according to CrackBerry‘s tip, will ditch the slide-out keyboard in favour of a more traditional, fixed keyboard approach. Once again, it will be powered by Android.
From what we can see, the three main Android keys for back, home and multitasking are physical buttons here, rather than the usual virtual options. The rear of the Vienna, meanwhile, appears to be covered by a heavily textured material.

We should point out that the images above are renders, and that there’s no indication of how recent they are. As such, there’s a possibility that the Vienna’s design will be modified or even completely changed from the one pictured.
All in all, we have to say that we’re a lot more interested in news of a new BlackBerry phone than we’d have been only a few months ago. That’s thanks to the Priv, which we found to be “the best BlackBerry phone in over half a decade” in our review.
