BioShock Collection rumoured for PS4 and Xbox One launch

Take-Two might release a remastered BioShock Collection for PS4 and Xbox One.
Given that the BioShock series has concluded with BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea, released back in 2014, and the studio that created it, Irrational Games, has been shut down, it’s a rather bleak future for the franchise.
Take-Two has reassured fans that the BioShock series will be continued at some point, but there’s no word on when any kind of new game will be launched.
However, we might just get a fresh taste of Rapture sooner than we originally thought.
According to a listing on a South African retailer’s website (spotted on NeoGAF), Take-Two might be gearing up to release a title called The BioShock Collection in the near future.
The retailer states that the title will launch on the Xbox One and PS4, with a release date pencilled in for November 27.
However, the listing has been since taken down, indicating that either the information was wrong, or that it’s the entire truth and the listing was just posted too early.

The retailer has been known in the past for leaking products ahead of their official announcements, so perhaps it does know something that we don’t.
Of course, you should take the rumour with a grain of salt for now, but if you’ve wanted to get involved with the BioShock series but haven’t gotten round to it yet, this might be your chance.
Hopefully it’ll combine all three BioShock titles into one remastered package, including the most recent BioShock Infinite.
