Best Game of Thrones Gifts for 2016
Game of Thrones season six is in full swing, and what better way to celebrate the swashbuckling series than by bagging yourself some Westeros-themed goodies?
We took a trip to HBO’s offices in London to check out some of the network’s latest season six swag. There are plenty of new replicas and toys in the line-up, all sure to inspire envy in even the most ardent Thrones naysayer.
Here’s a round-up of seven of the best Game of Thrones gifts we’ve seen so far.
Dragon Egg Collectible Set – £85.99
You may not be fireproof, and you’re almost certainly not the mother of dragons (soz), but you can still get your Daenerys on with this awesome collectible egg set.
The dragon eggs are designed by renowned jeweler Olga Ganoudis, and are exact – but scaled down – replicas of the ones used on set. They also come in a satin-lined, hand-crafted wooden case for good measure.
It’s a little expensive, but dragons ain’t cheap yo.

White Walker Figure – £20.99
This white walker figure is part of the Dark Horse Figures collection. Each figure represents a moment in time from the show, “perfectly capturing each character’s true personality”, apparently. Dark Horse has plenty of other characters in its figurine line-up too, including Margaery Tyrell, Sansa Stark, Oberyn Martell, and The Hound.
These are the most detailed figurines we’ve ever seen, but at this price, they’re a steal.
Funko Pop Vinyl Figures – £9.99
Funko Pop! figures are a staple gift for any geek, so it’s no surprise that Game of Thrones is already in on the action. The coolest new Pop! figure we’ve saw is this new Daenerys Ride! edition, featuring the Khaleesi sitting atop a cute, stumpy Drogon – a bargain at £31.99, we’d say.
New figures in 2016 include Stannis Baratheon, Melisandre, Bronn, Margaery Tyrell, Jorah Mormont, an Unsullied soldier, and a Son of the Harpy figure.
Sigil Shot Glasses – £7.99
The seven kingdoms are at war, but there’s one thing they can all agree on: their mutual love of booze
In that spirit, HBO is selling shot glasses emblazoned with your favourite Game of Thrones house sigil, at £7.99 apiece. Each glass is screen-printed with the sigil and house words of popular houses like Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon, Tyrell, and Martell.
You can also bag a pint glass for £10.99, a sigil mug for £11.99, a sigial coaster for £1.99, or a sigil wine glass for £12.99.
Hand of the King Pin – £12
Being the Hand of the King can be a great job, or a terrible job, depending on who the king is. So this is potentially the perfect gift for both friends and enemies.
The Noble Collection has recreated an authentic full-size prop replica of the Hand of the King pin, as once worn by Ned Stark. Yes, you can look just like Sean Bean (Yorkshire accent not included).
The collection also features Daenerys’ three-headed dragon pin, plus a bunch of pendants from the show too.

Replica weapons and armour – £189 to £275
Eminent swordsmith Jalic Blades has created an incredible replica sword and armour collection based on the Game of Thrones universe. Every weapon and piece of armour has been painstakingly recreated from the actual props used on the show.
Some of the collectibles in the line-up include a curved Dothraki Arakh, Arya Stark’s sword, Needle, the Hound’s helmet, Oathkeeper, a Stark infantry shield, and Loras Tyrell’s helmet.
Note that these weapons are for display purposes only, and not for smiting foes. Or anyone, for that matter.
Threezero figures – £90 to £130
If you thought the Dark Horse figures were cool, get a load of these. Threezero has created incredibly detailed 1/6th scale replicas of some of the most popular Game of Thrones characters. Each figuring comes with multiple pairs of hands featuring different grips, as well as various accessories.
Some of the available models include Tyrion Lannister, Eddard Stark, and Jon Snow – but more are on the way.
