Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid Live Stream: Watch the Champions League online this Wednesday
Reigning champions Real Madrid take a trip to the Allianz Arena tonight for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie with Bayern Munich. Our guide reveals all you need to know to watch Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid online, including full live stream details and the kick-off time.
This evening’s fixture pits the dominant side in Germany against a club that has lifted the Champions League trophy three times in the past four seasons. It’s a truly heavyweight encounter.
Strangely enough though, neither Munich nor Madrid were particularly widely fancied this year. Los Blancos have struggled domestically all season, but keep stepping up in the Champions League, thanks largely to the brilliance of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Munich’s current team, meanwhile, isn’t perceived to be quite as strong at it was in previous seasons. FC Hollywood have faced little to no competition in the Bundesliga, and the general feeling was that they wouldn’t quite be able to hack it on the Champions League stage.
However, both teams have outlasted early favourites Man City and Barcelona in this year’s competition, and they’ll each take to the field with tremendous amounts of firepower. Munich have the brilliant Robert Lewandowski, as well as former Madrid man Arjen Robben and James Rodriguez, who is on-loan from Madrid. Real, meanwhile, have the aforementioned Ronaldo to rely on, as well as the likes of Luka Modric and Isco.
Fortunately, watching the big game couldn’t be easier – as long as you’ve got the right TV package.

Failing that, we fear you’re out of luck. UEFA won a recent injunction against illegal online football streams, meaning that UK ISPs will be required to crack down on pirate Champions League and Europa League feeds. We wouldn’t recommend going down this route anyway, as not only does it fall foul of the law, but it can open you up to all kinds of malware and other digital nasties.
If you haven’t yet signed up for BT Sport, it’s surprisingly affordable – and you can find out how to do so here. Note that it can take a few hours for channels and streaming access to activate after signing up, so act fast to avoid disappointment.
