Battlefield Hardline beta extended on PS4 and PC

Good news gaming fans, the closed Battlefield Hardline beta has been extended, with gamers to now able to gain access until June 26.
Launched last week during EA’s E3 2014 press conference, the Battlefield Hardline Beta is exclusive to PS4 and PC gamers – sorry Xbox fans – and had originally been scheduled to come to a close later today, June 19.
However, giving fans of the FPS franchise more time to play with the cops and robbers themed release ahead of this October’s official launch, developer Visceral Games has now revealed the closed Beta will be accessible for a further seven days.
“The team at Visceral Games would like to thank those that have participated in the Battlefield Hardline closed Beta,” the studio said via an official blog post.
“
They added: “We’ve seen some incredible feats demonstrated on the virtual streets of LA – everything from massive breach charge explosions and intense heists to criminal riding shotgun and cops banding together to protect vaults.
“All of your time spent in game and feedback shared with us will help shape Battlefield Hardline over the coming months.”
Despite having cut Xbox fans out of the early beta experience, a second Battlefield Hardline beta will be offered later this year for all.
A current and past-gen release, the Battlefield Hardline release date has been set for October 24.
