DICE has released a range of details regarding the launch of Battlefield 1, revealing it to be the biggest in the company’s history.
Players across PS4, Xbox One and PC have built up a staggering 59 million hours of playtime since the game launched on October 21.
The developer has described the launch as the “biggest in DICE history” overtaking all previous titles in the Battlefield franchise.
During the first 10 days of release over 32 million battlepacks were earned across all modes, with 9 million hours being spent in Operations alone.

Battlefield 1 was not only commercial success, it also received near unanimous praise from critics.
Games Editor Brett Phipps awarded it 9/10 in his review, describing it as a “superlative experience” without a “single moment of filler.”
