Battleborn open beta launching on PS4 before Xbox One and PC

Battleborn will be getting an open beta starting on April 8 on PS4 and April 13 on Xbox One and PC, 2K has announced.
The beta will include quite a substantial chunk of content, so players can expect to get a decent impression of the final game. Here’s what’s included in the open beta: access to two story episodes – Void’s Edge and The Algorithm – two of the game’s three competitive multiplayer modes – Incursion and Meltdown – all 25 playable heroes, loot, gear, and the game’s full progression systems.
2K also revealed more information about Battleborn’s story mode, which will adopt a TV-style approach, with the player acting as the ‘commander of the Battleborn’. The story mode will feature eight ‘episodes’, plus a prologue, and each episode represents a self-contained narrative as the heroes fight to save the last star: Solus. Players will be able to unlock new heroes by completing each episode.
Battleborn launches on May 3 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
