Attention, Geordies! Amazon brings one-hour Prime Now deliveries to Newcastle
Amazon’s much-coveted one-hour delivery service has arrived in another UK city.
Newcastle is the latest addition to the growing roster of cities eligible for speedy Amazon Prime Now deliveries.
Surrounding postcodes in Gateshead, Durham, and Sunderland are also included in the new expansion.

Prime Now customers can choose to have an item delivered within one-hour of ordering for just £6.99.
However, you can also select a two-hour, same-day delivery slot free of charge.
Both options require a £79-per-year Amazon Prime subscription however, which already provides customers with free next-day delivery.
“
North continues: “We have already received great response from Prime Now customers in London and Birmingham and we’ve seen high demand on everything from essentials such as nappies and toiletries to must-have video games and toys – we are excited to delivering to more customers in record-breaking time.”
Newcastle residents will now have access to over 15,000 products for rapid delivery, including chilled and frozen food items like “Chicago Town pizzas, Birds Eye fish fingers, and Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream”.
