Asus VivoTab ME400 Tablet revealed
Asus have revealed its Asus VivoTab ME400 tablet, with a 10.1-inch HD display and Windows 8 OS.
With an Intel Atom dual core processor, fully compatible with all Windows 8 software, the Asus VivoTab ME400 tablet can be purchased with the TranSleeve Keyboard that doubles up as a protective cover and stand for the tablet.
Asus VivoTab ME400 Features
The Asus VivoTab ME400 features a 10.1-inch LED display offering 1366 X 768 HD resolutions in a 9.7mm thin body. Crisp and clear images will delivered in 178-degree wide view angle via IPS technology.
The Windows 8 OS can be operated with 5-point multi-touch, and with the Asus VivoTab ME400 weighing in at 580g it is lighter than an iPad 4 whilst boasting a bigger screen.
Containing an Intel Atom Z2760 dual-core processor, the Asus VivoTab ME400 delivers a fast performance, and the battery will last up to 9.5 hours on a single charge. The tablet also has 2GB of Ram and a large 64GB of internal storage as standard, expandable via its MicroSD card reader.
In terms of image capturing specs, the rear camera offers 8-megapixels with auto-focus, five-element lens and 1080p Full HD video recording, with the Asus VivoTab ME400’s front camera packing 2-megapixels.
The new Asus VivoTab ME400 also features the Asus SonicMaster speakers for good sound quality when watching movies or listening to music on the tablet.
For an additional cost, Asus offer the TranSleeve Keyboard, a magnetic wireless keyboard that is also the tablet’s cover and stand.
Asus VivoTab ME400 Release Date and Price
The Asus VivoTab ME400 release date is January 31, with the tablet available in ceramic white, diamond blue and poppy red. The Asus VivoTab ME400 price will be £399.
