Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will have two day one patches

You will have to download two patches before playing Assassin’s Creed Syndicate on launch day.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will have two day one patches, but they may not be as big as many are expecting.
Some rumours have speculated that the patch will be over 18GB in size, thankfully that isn’t the case.
Community manager Gabe Graziani confirmed on Reddit that the upcoming title will have two patches to download on launch day:
We actually have two patches that will be available on Day 1,” Graziani said.
“The first patch (titled 1.10) will be 541MB, the second (titled 1.11) will be 534MB.”
“Not sure where 18 GB came from,” he added,. “Neither of the patches you will need to download are anywhere near that big.”

Day one patches are becoming a pretty common thing, especially with AAA titles. Halo 5: Guardians will also have a day one patch weighing in at 9GB when it launches next week.
We have to admit that buying a new game on launch day only to be greeted by a massive download is a little inconvenient.
Although, if the day one patch for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate remedies many of the launch issues found in last year’s AC Unity, it’ll be more than worth it.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate launches on October 23 for PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC version to come on November 19.
Our review of Syndicate will be up later this week, but for now you can check out our preview.
