Apple Watch Live Stream: How to watch the launch event

Apple is set to offer up final details on its first wearable tonight, and you can follow the Apple Watch live stream.

Keeping you abreast of Tim Cook’s ramblings on the Android Wear rival, Apple will host a live stream of its San Francisco-based “Spring Forward” launch event.

As with previous launches, however, you will need an Apple branded device on which to watch the event.

Streamed via apple.com/live, those keen to follow the Apple Watch birthing will need to have their Mac running Safari version 5.1.10 on OS X 10.6.8 or later. iPhone and iPad users will need Safari running on iOS 6.0 or later, with second and third-generation Apple TV owners also able to follow the event in real time.

The Apple Watch launch event will kick-off at 10am PDT, 5pm on our fair British shores.

Top of the list of points set to be covered at tonight’s showing include the Apple Watch release date and price, as well as a finalised features.

With the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R challenger expected to hit retailers in a matter of weeks, much attention will likely also be heaped on the array of Apple Watch apps to be available at launch.

Apple’s live streams tend to work on a queuing system with high-demand often causing drop-offs in streams.
