Apple Watch finally goes on sale at a UK network

The Apple Watch has been available to buy in the UK for seven months, but it’s yet to make a debut at any mobile networks.

Until now, anyway – Three has become the first network to offer the Apple Watch.

Apple’s fledgling wearable is now available for purchase in a total of 41 stores across the UK.

We are excited to be the first UK network to be selling the Apple Watch in stores across the UK,” says Sylvia Chind, Three’s head of devices and products.

Chind continues: “Wearables is a growing category and the Apple Watch is an ideal gift at Christmas.”

The Apple Watch – with grey strap – is retailing at £339, but Three is also offering a number of Christmas deals, include device trade-ins that could knock an average of £160 off the price tag.

The Apple Watch was first released in the UK on April 24, 2015.

There are four core variants to date: Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch Hermes, and Apple Watch Edition.

We gave the Apple Watch a 6/10 in our review, praising the device for its strong design, well-integrated Force Touch, and comfort.
