Apple Watch Basics workshops will teach you all about your new wearable
To mark the arrival of the Apple Watch (for a handful of consumers, anyway), Apple has started offering special workshops to teach users about its newest product.
Dubbed ‘Apple Watch Basics’, the classes will guide early Apple Watch adopters through the ins and outs of their new wearable, highlighting how to get the most from the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R rival.
Starting on April 24 – the day we had expected the Watch to be available to the masses – the sessions will only be available in select Apple Stores around the world.
The Apple Watch workshops will take place seven days a week, and customers will have to schedule an appointment if they wish to attend one.
Currently, however, it looks like the UK has been overlooked. British consumers can instead look forward to learning about iCloud, spreadsheets and staying organised on their Mac.
The Cupertino-based company is struggling to meet demand for its first wearable, and only a small number of buyers will actually receive the Apple Watch on April 24, despite shelling out between £299 and £13,500 for it.
Apple has even replaced the “Available 24.04.15″ message on its website with a deliberately vaguer “The Watch is coming.”
What’s more, the iPhone 6 maker has confirmed that the timepiece will not be available to buy from physical stores either this month or next.

Reports suggest that production has been scuppered due to a limited supply of Taptic Engine vibration motors and OLED displays.
The main bulk of consumers should instead get their hands on the timepiece in June or July.
