iOS 7 updates have proved exceedingly popular with Apple confirming that the latest mobile operating system is already running on almost two-thirds of existing iPhone and iPad devices.

Despite the iOS 7 release having been plagued by a range of minor issues and bugs, Apple has seen high adoption rates, with further updates having been quickly released to quell concerns with the heavily refreshed software.
While the iOS 7 update is now running on 64 per cent of compatible devices, Apple added that the most eager of early adopters were numerous stating that within five days from launch, iOS 7 was already running on more than 200 million devices.
