Apple owns apple.car domain

Apple appears to have registered three car-related domains, including apple.car, hinting at its as yet unconfirmed Apple Car project.
The three domains are apple.car, apple.cars, and apple.auto, as reported by MacRumors.
Updated Whois records reveal the Cupertino-based company registered the domains through sponsoring registrar MarkMonitor Inc.
MarkMonitor is an intermediary that protects companies against domain squatting, and Apple Inc. is named on the record as the registrant.

There’s no guarantee that the domains relate to Apple’s car project, especially seeing as the company has been pushing its CarPlay connectivity system recently.
CarPlay allows users to access iOS apps through their car’s infortainment system using Siri voice activation.
Apple has been rumoured to be working on its own self-driving car, tipped for a 2020- release, for some time.
The secretive project has supposedly been developed under the codename ‘Project Titan’.
