Get Apple Music help on Apple’s new Twitter page

Unlike most technology companies, Apple has always been cautious with social media. Until recently, anyway.

Apple has opened a brand new Twitter page dedicated to providing customer service to Apple Music users.

As of today, an Apple support team will help out fans of the brand with any Apple Music issues.

The team will be working from 06:00 to 20:00 PDT every day of the week, and will even ‘direct message’ some users to find out more about their problems.

Apple’s new account has only written 98 tweets so far, and it’s still fairly unknown with just 1,838 followers.

That’s compared to its actual Apple Music page, which already has 7.88 million followers.

This isn’t the first time Apple has offered customer support through Twitter; the company already operates a ‘Beats by Dre Support’ account – that’s got just shy of 25,000 followers.

Regardless, it’s an interesting move, especially because there’s still not a dedicated Twitter page for the Apple brand proper yet.

Apple launched its music streaming service on June 30, after months of rumours and speculation.

The company offered new customers a free three-month trial to the platform, which has now ended for early adopters.

Those who chose to continue with the service will now be paying a £9.99/$9.99 monthly fee.

Apple Music is currently available on iOS, OS X, and Windows devices, and it’s set for eventual launch on both Apple TV and Google’s Android OS.
