Report: Apple’s next iPhone and iPad now have a launch date

We might finally have a date for Apple’s next big launch event.
Apple is planning a media event to unveil new products, scheduled for March 15, apparently.
That’s according to 9to5mac’s Mark Gurman, who claims sources outed the company’s plans for a Tuesday reveal.
It’s widely expected that Apple will launch a number of products in the near future.
Amongst the tipped devices are a new 4-inch iPhone SE – or iPhone 5se – and the iPad Air 3.
iPhone 5C sequel in the works?
There were also rumours of an Apple Watch 2 launch, but it now looks more likely that we’ll see new band options for the existing Apple Watch instead.
According to Gurman, the bands will include new Sport strap colours, new Hermes bands, a ‘space black’ Milanese Loop variant, and a strap range crafted from a new material.
This material is alleged to be “high-quality” nylon bands, but Apple has made no comment on the matter thus far.

If you’re hoping for an iPhone 7 however, stop right there. A major flagship phone launch is unlikely to take place any time soon. Stay tuned for Apple’s regular autumn event on that front.
