Report: Apple’s iPad Pro is just days away from release

Apple gave us plenty of details about the iPad Pro in September, but it didn’t reveal a release date.

Fortunately, a new report suggests that the iPad Pro will arrive as soon as November 11.

That’s according to 9to5mac’s Mark Gurman, who cites “multiple sources” as being familiar with the matter.

At the product’s announcement, Apple confirmed that the super-size tablet would be available to buy in November.

However, this is our first solid date for a possible in-store launch of the product.

The report also notes that the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard – both iPad Pro accessories – will arrive on the same date.

The iPad Pro starts at $799, although top-tier models will set customers back north of $1,000.

Apple has yet to confirm UK pricing, but it’s expected that the tablet will start at around £750 for the 32GB Wi-Fi variant.

The iPad Pro is Apple’s biggest mobile device to date, and features a 12.9-inch 2,732 x 2,048 pixel display.

It also boasts Apple’s new A9X system-on-a-chip, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB or 128GB storage options.

The tablet is larger than the 9.7-inch iPad Air 2, and looks set to rival productivity-focused setups like the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
