Apple iPad Pro release date and UK price revealed
Apple has finally announced its enlarged iPad Pro tablet will go on sale this week.
The firm will open online pre-orders for the 12.9-inch slate on Wednesday, while it will be available in stores on Friday.
Alongside the release date Apple has also keyed in UK buyers on how much they’ll need to pay for the tablet.
The 32GB Wi-Fi-only version will cost £679, while the top priced 128GB version with Wi-Fi and LTE is priced at a frightening £899.
Those seeking more storage, minus the mobile internet access will be able to get the iPad Pro for £799.
Apple has also revealed UK pricing for the new iPad Pro accessories. The Smart Keyboard will be £139, while the Pencil stylus is an extra £79.

That’s minus a case and the Apple Care extended warranty required to protect the investment from stretches, damage and faults in the long haul.
While the price point may seem a little extravagant, the iPad Pro is undoubtedly the firm’s most premium iPad yet.
Alongside that 2,732 x 2,048, 5.6 million pixel display, it boasts an A9X processor that outstrips the performance of the latest iPhone 6S handsets. It’s just 6.9mm thick and weighs 712g.
