Apple is rolling out the first update for its brand-new fourth generation Apple TV set-top box.
The software update named tvOS 9.0.1 comes just over a week after the new and improved hockey puck went on sale to the public.
Apple has not provided release notes for the update, but it’s likely to contain a host of bug fixes and general stability improvements (via MacRumors).
The company has been busily boosting the functionality since it reached the earliest adopters on October 30. The App Store now has a charts and categories section, while a shopping section has also been added.
The firm is yet to enable the iOS Remote app for use with the new set-top box, but a new version of the app is thought to be coming soon.
Owners should receive a notification for the 9.0.1 update, but if not it can be found on within the Settings app on the new Apple TV.
