First-Look: Apple’s Store of the Future, and the ‘secret’ design lab

Very few people ever get a look behind closed doors at Apple – until now.

Apple is giving US TV viewers an inside-look at the inside of its headquarters.

The company will show off the iPhone maker’s secret lab for an episode of 60 Minutes.

The episode will air on Sunday in the states, offering a sneak peek at what really goes on at Cupertino HQ.

Broadcaster Charlie Rose will even meet Apple’s design chief Jony Ive in his design studio.

60 Minutes will also get a ‘first look’ at ‘Apple’s store of the future’.

This will see Rose guided by Apple’s Angela Ahrendts, who heads up retail operations globally.
